What can Legal Protection Insurers do to serve their customers better - can a Trust Mark help to achieve this goal?
Brussels, 5 June 2009
What do consumers really want? Standards, quality/ trust marks and codes of conduct: an answer to customers’ needs?
Consumers’ views and expectations will be presented to participants, but how can the industry meet these requests? An expert will introduce the available instruments. He will help us to understand better the costs and benefits related to the development and implementation of tools like standards, trust marks and quality charters. Organisations and companies that have already developed an effective tool will also share their experience with us.
RIAD will host a workshop on 5 June 2009 in Brussels.
Key note speakers will be Monique Goyens (Director General of BEUC – the European Consumers’ Organisation), Paul Timmins (Head of Risk & HR - DAS UK) who will present the “Treat Your Customers Fairly” initiative of the UK Financial Service Authority and the researcher, Ton Wagemans (Partner of Considerati, The Netherlands), who will present some data and figures about available self regulatory instruments. Two panel discussions will help to look at the topic from different perspectives and will allow delegates to participate actively.
Please register by mail or fax until 22 May 2009 at the latest. Participation in the workshop is by invitation only.
